EDUCATION
Studied at the Kharkiv Art and Industrial Institute, Faculty of Monumental and Decorative Art.
ARTISTIC STYLE
Vadym Petrov works in the field of painting. He creates still lifes and landscapes in styles such as postmodernism, avant-gardism, and others.
He is also engaged in book illustration and graphic art. In his work, Petrov synthesizes academic techniques, decorativeness, and the achievements of contemporary pop culture.
AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
He illustrated works by Victor Hugo (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame), Daniel Defoe (Robinson Crusoe), Dante Alighieri (The Divine Comedy), among others.

Vadym Petrov’s works are held in the collections of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, the Kharkiv Art Museum, the Eduard Nakhamkin Gallery (USA), the Zimmerli Art Museum in New Jersey, the Norton Dodge Collection (USA), as well as in numerous private collections.
