The history of the Capella began in 1964 when Viktor Ikonnyk founded an amateur choir. Later, the choir gained professional status, and in 1992 a newly formed orchestra joined it. The ensemble was named the Borys Liatoshynsky Classical Music Ensemble, now known as the Liatoshynskyi Capella. The chief conductor is Bohdan Plish.
EDUCATION
Orchestra members are graduates of the National Music Academy of Ukraine.

The orchestra is frequently invited for premiere performances, studio audio and video recordings, musical accompaniment of state events, and collaborations with popular artists.
