A Ukrainian actor, screenwriter, and director of Crimean Tatar origin. He is the director of the state enterprise "Crimean House." With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Akhtem joined the Territorial Defense Forces and is currently defending Ukraine as part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
EDUCATION
Graduated from the Directing Faculty of the Ivan Karpenko-Kary Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television.
AWARDS AND HONORS
Recipient of the Order of Merit, 3rd class; the Honorary Badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “Golden Cross”; Laureate of the Crimean State Prize; Winner of the “Kyiv Pectoral” Theatre Award; received Best Actor Award at the 7th Bosphorus International Film Festival. Also a laureate of the Vasyl Stus Prize.
WORKS
Author of historical war dramas such as Haytarma, Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die, Peaceful-21, and many other films. His theatrical directing includes productions like My Love, Electra, The Forest Song, Bravo, Amadeo!, and Simferopol Boys.
INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The theatrical play Macbeth, in which Seitablaiev played the lead role, participated in numerous international festivals, including the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He has been recognized for his directing at international film festivals in Turkey and Italy.
