We are incredibly delighted that this year, the star cellist from Georgia, Lizi Ramishvili, will perform at our festival. Considering the security situation in Ukraine, we deliberately refrained from inviting our foreign friends to participate in the festival over the past 2 years. However,
Lizi had an irresistible desire to come to Ukraine now, during the great war, to express her support, love, and admiration for the brave Ukrainian people. Despite her busy schedule, and invitations to the world's best musical stages, Lizi made her choice in favor of Ukraine and will take part in our musical program. It so happens that two musical stars will converge at the festival – Ukrainian pianist Maria Klymenko and Georgian cellist Lizi Ramishvili. The musicians will present a program of European, Ukrainian, and Georgian compositions.

Program:
Claude Debussy - Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor CD 144 (L135)
César Franck - Sonata for Violin and Piano in A major, FWV 8 (arrangement for cello and piano)
Gabriel Fauré - Elegy for Piano and Cello Op.24
Mykola Lysenko - Elegy "Sum" for Cello and Piano
Sulkhan Tsintsadze - 5 Pieces on Georgian Folk Themes
