Special screening of the film anthology “War Through the Eyes of Animals”

On August 17 at 18:00, we invite you to an open-air screening at the Bouquet Kyiv Stage festival in Saint Sophia, Kyiv.

“War Through the Eyes of Animals” is a Ukrainian feature film anthology consisting of seven short stories based on real events by both Ukrainian and foreign filmmakers. The main characters are animals suffering from the war in Ukraine.

Short films to be shown as part of the festival:

“Son”
The war has taken away from Larysa the most precious thing in her life — her son — and she can hardly imagine how to go on living. Explosions and deadly danger only distract her for a moment, but rescuing an injured dog she finds in a field, whose life now depends on her, becomes her reason to exist. It also helps her to feel alive again.

“The Eagle”
While recording the voices of rare birds in a national reserve for a foreign producer, a young sound engineer is interrupted by the sudden outbreak of war.

“We’re All Right”
One day in the life of a Kyiv resident preparing to leave for a safe country abroad. The only thing that makes him cry is his allergy to a cat. Or does it just seem like he’s all right? What is “postponed life,” “survivor’s guilt,” and why, after waiting a week for a massive shelling and finally experiencing it, does one feel relief?

(400 UAH — full price, 200 UAH — reduced price).
Combatants do not need to purchase an entrance ticket.
