CONVERSATION UNDER THE ASH TREE "BEAUTY OF RESPONSIBILITY"

Bohdan Havrylyshyn believed in the power of people who take responsibility for themselves, for others, and for society. He understood that great change does not necessarily emerge from coercion or the struggle for power. It can begin with a person who is capable of listening, bringing people together, cooperating, and acting for the sake of a shared future.

His own life story — that of a Ukrainian who went from being a displaced person to becoming one of the world’s most renowned management thinkers — is an example of how personal responsibility can grow into a force for social change.

Today, his ideas about freedom, dignity, the culture of interaction, responsibility, and the role of the younger generation resonate with particular relevance. The future does not simply happen to us — it is shaped by people who feel responsible for what that future will be.

The legacy of Bohdan Havrylyshyn, the power of personal responsibility, and the culture of interaction will be discussed by his daughter, Patricia Schmorgun Havrylyshyn, Co-Founder of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation, and Marianna Yeleiko, Head of the Foundation.

The conversation will be moderated by Yevheniy Utkin and Serhii Koshman.
