TRIBUTE TO NAZGUL SHUKAEVA
She would step onto the stage, and the audience would fall silent in anticipation. It always felt as though something greater than a concert was about to unfold—that music would reach those depths beyond the power of words, and everyone would discover something deeply personal within it.
Radiant, vibrant, open-hearted, wise, and full of light. Free. She lived through every breath. She never sought to conquer a space—she allowed it to resonate. She carried with her a sense of boundlessness, as if the horizon was always just behind her.
There was more air than words in her singing. From ancient throat singing to operatic soprano, every performance revealed a new universe. Each of her projects became far more than a concert—they were musical and theatrical experiences: jazz improvisations, shamanic rituals with drums, spiritual performances beneath the vaults of Saint Sophia Cathedral. Everything Nazgul Shukaeva touched was transformed by a unique sense of power and magic.
From the very first Bouquet Kyiv Stage to this day, Nazgul has been an inseparable part of the festival.
And she will be with us again this year.
Musicians who shared the stage with her over the years will come together for this special evening. Their voices, instruments, memories, and music will create a heartfelt tribute to the incomparable Nazgul Shukaeva.
May her voice once again illuminate the ninth Bouquet Kyiv Stage.
