Princess Zobeida has been happily married for thirty-nine days. But on the fortieth day, she discovers that her beloved husband is an evil sorcerer. Faced with an unexpected destiny, the princess must stop a war and save everyone she loves. Will she succeed, and whom will she encounter along the way? Discover the answers in our performance.

Interesting FactsThis is the first Ukrainian translation of Carlo Gozzi's play, completed by Viktor Shylo in just a few months.The performance features live music throughout.The unique costumes and stage design were created by Ivan Mykhailov, the production designer of the acclaimed film Pamfir.The large animal masks were specially designed for this production and are unlike anything you will see elsewhere.Commedia dell'Arte is a true theatre of the streets, coming to life here and now through improvisation, humour, and drama. The creative project Zobeida brings together independent actors and artists united by the vision of establishing Commedia dell'Arte theatre in Kyiv.
