Just as every Ukrainian begins their day with gratitude to our Defenders, the Bouquet Kyiv Stage festival traditionally opens with a luminous commemorative event for the third year in a row.
"Chervona Kalyna" is a tribute to the memory of the Artists who perished during the Great War.
In 2023, we planted a viburnum tree in the garden of Saint Sophia as a symbol of remembrance for the fallen Warrior-Artists.
Last summer, our viburnum grew weak — scorched by extreme heat and drought, it began to wither... But the festival revived it with strength, and the Kalyna started to come back to life.
This year, the Kalyna has grown stronger, spread its branches, and transformed from a withered sprout into a true tree.
In this bush lives Hope: that the sacrifice of every Artist who consciously stood in defense of Ukraine and gave their life for it was not in vain.
The Boys and Youth Choir of the M. Lysenko Kyiv State Music Lyceum and the Kyiv Chamber Choir will carry our Gratitude and Bright Memory to our Heroes.
ADMISSION TO THE EVENT IS FREE
with a general entrance ticket to the Saint Sophia of Kyiv Museum Complex
(UAH 400 – full price, UAH 200 – reduced price).
Combat veterans do not need to purchase a ticket.
