Immersive ProjectOn the Occasion of Oleksandr Dubovyk’s 95th Anniversary
To mark the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Dubovyk, the international high arts festival Bouquet Kyiv Stage presents the immersive project The Triumph of the “Bouquet.”
Conceived as a large-scale journey through the artist’s creative universe, the exhibition unfolds across five halls of the Khlibnya Gallery at the National Sanctuary “Sophia of Kyiv.” Bringing together painting, graphic art, the artist’s poetry and philosophical writings, original music, and cutting-edge multimedia technologies, the project offers visitors a unique opportunity to enter the symbolic world of one of Ukraine’s most significant contemporary artists.
At the heart of the exhibition is the immersive installation The Transformation of the “Bouquet,” spanning three exhibition halls. It traces the birth and evolution of the Bouquet — the central image and philosophical cornerstone of Dubovyk’s artistic vision.
The immersive exhibition is divided into three thematic chapters: Origins, The Formation of the “Bouquet”, Zenith: The Artist’s Quantum Reality.Together, these chapters present a retrospective of Dubovyk’s artistic development, revealing his unique language of symbols and signs, his philosophy of Suggestive Realism, and his Theory of Singularity.
Animated fragments of paintings and texts are projected onto every surface—walls, ceiling, and floor—creating a fully immersive environment. Combined with specially composed music, the installation surrounds visitors with Dubovyk’s artistic universe, allowing them to experience the living energy of his symbols from within.
Alongside the immersive installation, the exhibition includes two additional thematic sections:
After the War presents the artist’s most recent works, addressed to the future—to those who, in Dubovyk’s words, “will live and reflect upon their own lives and the fate of the world after the war.”
Good Afternoon, Mr. Dubovyk! is dedicated to the artist himself and to the principal symbols of his hermetic artistic language, including the Dialogue and the Bouquet.
Representing nearly a century of Ukrainian culture, Oleksandr Dubovyk occupies a unique place in both Ukrainian and international contemporary art. His artistic universe stands as one of the most original and distinctive achievements of modern visual culture.

For Bouquet Kyiv Stage, this exhibition holds particular significance. It was Oleksandr Dubovyk who gifted the festival its emblem—the Bouquet—an image that became its name, its philosophy, and an essential part of its identity from the very beginning.
The Triumph of the “Bouquet” is the festival’s tribute to the Master and an invitation to discover the depth of his artistic vision, the scale of his personality, and the extraordinary world he has created.
An essential component of the project is its original musical score, composed especially for The Triumph of the “Bouquet” by Ukrainian composers Serhii Piliutykov and Maksym Shalygin.
