“Contemporary and Timeless”A concert of music by contemporary Ukrainian composers: Yevhen Stankovych, Valentyn Sylvestrov, Sviatoslav Lunyov, Liubava Sydorenko, Maksym Shalyhin
At the Bouquet Kyiv Stage 2025 festival, a grand concert titled "Contemporary and Timeless" will take place.The program will feature the best works from the concert repertoire of the project of the same name, created in collaboration with the National Philharmonic of Ukraine and in creative partnership with Natalia Ponomarchuk, conductor of the Kyiv Chamber Orchestra.
This project brings together original concerts by contemporary Ukrainian composers who have already made a significant contribution to Ukrainian musical culture — Valentyn Silvestrov, Svyatoslav Lunyov, Liubava Sydorenko, and Maksym Shalyhin.
In addition to this landmark selection, the concert will also include music by the outstanding contemporary composer Yevhen Stankovych.This part of the program represents another initiative of the National Philharmonic of Ukraine:"Dictum: the complete cycle of Yevhen Stankovych’s chamber symphonies", a project ideated and inspired by Natalia Ponomarchuk. This unprecedented undertaking aims to preserve and popularize Ukraine's national musical heritage.
Without exaggeration, “Contemporary and Timeless” promises to be one of the festival’s most powerful musical events—a journey through the modern, the timeless, and the eternal.
