Sometimes the most meaningful conversations take place without words."Good Afternoon, Mr. Dubovyk!" is a musical tribute to the renowned Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Dubovyk.
More than a concert, it is a personal gift to the Master—an expression of gratitude, admiration, and an artistic dialogue with a man whose universe of symbols, signs, and inner freedom has inspired generations of artists.At the heart of the programme are original compositions by Serhii Piliutikov, the Master's favourite composer, including the seven-part cycle Offering, created from melodies especially cherished by Oleksandr Dubovyk. This musical offering is intimate, thoughtful, and deeply personal, born of many years of creative dialogue and sincere friendship between the composer and the artist.
This concert is another opportunity to say, "Good Afternoon, Mr. Dubovyk!"—and to hear the reply expressed not in words, but in music.

*Serhii Piliutikov is a Ukrainian composer, founder and Artistic Director of the Rikochet New Music Ensemble, and a recipient of the Borys Liatoshynskyi and Mykola Lysenko Prizes. For many years, he has explored the interaction between music and other art forms. His compositions combine contemporary compositional techniques with profound philosophical imagery, creating a unique world of symbols and inner meanings.
Founded by Serhii Piliutikov, the Rikochet New Music Ensemble has been introducing audiences to contemporary Ukrainian classical music for more than twenty-five years and is widely recognised as one of its leading interpreters.
