The National Presidential Orchestra is a military artistic ensemble founded in 1991. The ensemble was formed by the Head of the Military Band Service of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Anatolii Molotai.

AWARDS AND HONORS
By Decree of the President of Ukraine dated April 14, 2003, the orchestra was granted the status of “National”.

REPERTOIRE
From the golden treasury of timeless classical music to avant-garde works and the search for new musical voices, the symphony orchestra’s repertoire is rooted in tradition while remaining open to challenges and experimentation.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY
In May 2023, the National Presidential Orchestra, conducted by Lieutenant Colonel Maksym Husak, presented “Ukrainian Evenings” on the stage of one of Europe’s oldest theatres, the Royal Danish Theatre. Among the guests were Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Denmark. The concert was named the most significant Ukrainian cultural event in Denmark in 2023.

In September 2023, a historic cultural and diplomatic event took place for the ensemble: the Director of the National Presidential Orchestra, Colonel Maksym Husak, visited Washington, D.C., where, together with the United States Air Force Band, a major concert was held in support of Ukraine’s struggle for independence.
