Internationally acclaimed Israeli composer and drummer.

EDUCATION
Completed a BA in Musicology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Studied at the Drummers Collective in New York. Received a full scholarship to the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.

REPERTOIRE
Yogev Shetrit’s music is an original fusion of traditional North African music, Gnawa, and Andalusian musical heritage rooted in his Moroccan background, combined with contemporary jazz and Mediterranean musical traditions.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY
The Yogev Shetrit Trio has performed in more than 40 countries at prestigious festivals and concert venues, including the International Panama Jazz Festival, The Kennedy Center (Washington, USA), Casa del Jazz (Rome, Italy), and many others.
