EDUCATION
Graduated from the Donetsk State Conservatory (jazz piano class).

REPERTOIRE
His musical interests are wide-ranging — from jazz to contemporary electronic music.

In 2002, he recorded his first album More Than Words as part of a jazz trio. A year later, Rodion served as co-composer and co-producer of the debut album O Tebye (“About You”) by Ukrainian singer Gaitana. In 2009, he released the album Electric Variete. In 2013, he issued an electronic release with young musicians — the EP SideFX.

Rodion Ivanov has worked as a session musician in leading Ukrainian rock and pop projects such as Green Grey, Gaitana, VIA Gra, and Alyosha, while also participating in international and Ukrainian jazz projects. He has performed with Denys Adu, Ihor Zakus, and others, and took part in Ukrainian jazz platforms such as Jazz Kolo, Dogma Trio, and Ad Libitum. He has written songs for pop singers, jazz compositions for his own projects, and music for television commercials.

INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY
He has performed at jazz festivals in France, Lithuania, and other countries. He has shared the stage with JD Walter, Frank Lacy, and Greg Bandy.
