He received his musical education at the National Music Academy of Ukraine.
AWARDS AND DISTINCTIONS
Laureate of the Levko Revutsky Prize and the Mykola Lysenko Prize; winner and diploma holder of international piano competitions in the USA, Canada, and Ukraine; winner of the "Gradus ad Parnassum" composers’ competition (Kyiv). He has been a scholarship recipient of the governments of Ukraine, Switzerland, and the University of Ottawa (Canada).
REPERTOIRE
A significant part of his repertoire as a pianist consists of works by Ukrainian composers, including premieres of compositions by Zoltan Almashi, Valentyn Bibik, Oleksandr Hrynberg, Valentyn Hodziatskyi, Vitalii Zhuravytskyi, Yevhen Stankovych, Yurii Ishchenko, Ivan Karabyts, Borys Kryvopust, Viktoriya Poliova, Levko Sydorenko, Valentyn Sylvestrov, Oleksandr Shymko, Ihor Shcherbakov, and Oleksandr Shchetynsky.
INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITY
His compositions have been performed in the USA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, China, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Greece, Finland, France, Portugal, Poland, Lithuania, Turkey, Romania, Israel, Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia. His works have been published in Germany and the UK, and released on CDs in Lithuania and the USA.
