PRESS RELEASE
"Life Goes On!": Bouquet Kyiv Stage 2020 will be held in Kyiv. Third Festival of High Art will take place on August 20-25.

Traditionally, Bouquet Kyiv Stage will gather the admirers of music, literature, visual art and theatre in the garden of "St. Sophia of Kyiv". Already, it is the third festival which the cultural centre Dim "Master Klass" organizes each summer.

"Life Goes On!" – is the slogan of the Bouquet Kyiv Stage 2020.

"Today the Bouquet is a city festival. And the city is represented not solely by its architectural landscapes, but in the first place by its people. It is people who make the place such as it is. That is why it is extremely important to speak about people influencing the space, changing the space and us in it. A connection between the city and its people is what we would like to talk about this year. So we have chosen "The City of Masters" as a focus-theme of this year's festival", – explains Iryna Budanska.

This theme, as the organizers tell us, enables city residents to get to know talented people, the ones we are already familiar with and the ones that we may discover for ourselves.

This year the language of music: classical, contemporary classical, jazz and experimental, will disclose the names of outstanding masters: composers, educators, conductors, performers.

The Third Bouquet is going to be a festival of premières. Theatre component will be represented by a theatrical and musical performance "Babyn Yar".
Visual programme will be comprised of art exhibitions, with the focus on the artists of the 1960s, as well as projects straddling visual art and state-of-the-art technologies.

Yevhen Utkin, the founder of the Bouquet Kyiv Stage, invites you to visit traditional hard talks under the ash tree. The theme of this year's hard talks is "Life Goes On!" Outstanding speakers and everyone who is fond of thoughtful conversations and interesting discussions will meet in the shadow of a two-hundred-year-old ash tree growing in the garden of "St. Sophia of Kyiv". This is going to be a territory where new meanings will be generated and ideas will be exchanged, a place where inspiration will be born.

Literature
, a new component of the festival, will be represented by dialogues with writers and intellectuals, publishers and translators about the interaction of the individual and the city. The key expected event is a poetry marathon.
This year a traditional programme for kids will consist of theatrical performances, creative master classes and educational interactive events. The target audience spans different age groups, from infants to teenagers.

In all, 40 events have been scheduled, with a part of them streamed online. So anyone in any part of the globe will be able to access a magnificent space, imbued with art and inspiration.

During the festival with the purpose of preventing the spread of COVID-19 the organizers will adhere to all the recommendations of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the rules introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Kyiv City Council as regards conducting mass cultural events during the quarantine.
Attention! On August 5th a presentation of the Bouquet Kyiv Stage-2020 will be held, at which the organizers and curators of the festival will introduce its detailed programme and participants.
